Anant Asavabhokin

Anant Asavabhokin is the President of Land and Houses Plc. (http://www.lh.co.th/), Thailand’s largest builder of affordable housing. He also has shares in Mandarin Hotel.

Land and Houses’ principal business is residential housing development, concentrating particularly on single detached houses. All of its projects are in Greater Bangkok and its vicinities and also in major cities such as Chiengmai, Nakornratchasima, Khonkaen, and Phuket.

Land and Houses started as a small housing project initiated by Anant’s mother, Piangjai Harnpanich in 1973.

He capitalized early on Thailand’s urbanization and built affordable homes for the burgeoning middle class.

He also intorduced innovative ideas from abroad such as his DIY hardware and home furnishing business, HomePro.
